I chose to study exercise science because I was very interested in the treatment of athletes after injuries and injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. I want to
be a physical therapist after I get my degree. I like helping people. And I feel that it's my duty in this world to help people.
Fitness has always been a huge passion of mine. And I've always enjoyed trying to help other people, like my friends or family also improve their physical goals.
I decided to attend the University in New Haven because of the very close knit community the professor's were very kind and open to help their students
like being here. I like the atmosphere, students coaches football program, so they really cared about me. So I feel at home here.
I like the exercise science program at New Haven because it's a very hands on learning experience. And you get to work with athletes in the professor's are very passionate about their
work. What I find most unique about the access science program is honestly the people in it. There's all the teachers I've met are very welcoming. And all my other fellow peers are also very welcoming
my professors show that they really care. Like the course is intriguing. To keep me interested.
My personal favorite class from our exercise science program is probably our personal training and wellness class, I've been able to learn a lot more about how the human body works and just from a physical standpoint in a nutritional base. And also I really like it for its hands on aspect in being able to actually be able to work with someone for our final project and actually go through the process of training a client. I am currently a student athlete here at the University of New Haven, I am on the football team. And being a student athlete, you always have to find a balance between athletics and academics. Obviously academics comes first
ever since I came to New Haven, the strength and conditioning program has taken care of me. It's helped me reach my goals physically and mentally. And the facilities here are great food facilities. Waveland was great and classrooms are great. So everything's been great so far, Mike's ministry UNH.
Having an opportunity here to study it at the University of New Haven has been a true blessing.
