National Security

Defend and Protect Our Way of Life

Those who are elected or appointed to civil or uniformed services in the government take the Oath of Office, a deep commitment to the United States Constitution and what’s written in it: “I, ____, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic...”

The timeless words above define our freedoms and our duty to defend them. They also define the University of New Haven’s B.S. in National Security degree. This program provides student-patriots with the knowledge, skills and insights needed to combat threats to the nation’s physical security, our values, and our very way of life. The program will prepare you for an exciting and rewarding career in the national security, diplomacy, and intelligence fields in both the public and private sectors. In fact, the University of New Haven is a recognized leader in developing the skill set that spells career success in this field.
